I have a question that doesn't relate to this game at all. I always wonder why, as it shows at the 3:50 mark of this video, people wear jerseys of a team that is not on the ice? To be quite honest, it drives me crazy. As it seems to do with all my friends. We all agree they look foolish, as if they have no idea where they are exactly...

What do you mean the Rangers aren't playing

Can someone please explain this to me?

Agreed. I go to alot of non Sabres games, and I would never wear my Sabres jersey to those games.

nice flashback, Kev.

even now, watching these highlights, i threw my arms up when Rivet scored.

i didn't have any personal connections with the crash, but my wife's 3rd grade teacher lost her husband on the flight. she'd kept in contact with the woman for a long time and she was devastated when she learned of his passing in the crash. an elderly couple that my mother in law rents a Sunset Bay cottage from lived across the street from the scene. that summer, the elderly man was telling us about the whole ordeal. even then, he was still just broken up over the whole thing. said it was the worst incedent he'd dealt with since being in the war - my guess was he was in Korea as he never came out and said in which war he served.

i just remember sitting there at the end of the game, my eyes welled up with tears, thinking about the families - local or otherwise - who lost a loved one in that crash.
